No anger

"No anger, no annoyance, just resignation as to what Arsenal have become and what we can expect from them."

The above is a paraphrase of an excerpt from a tweet to the BBC website after today's game, and unfortunately I am starting to feel the same way. Just this resigned apathy every time we fail, and pleasant surprise whenever we succeed. This is not the way I should be feeling but it's all I can do. How can you feel angry at something which has become the norm?

Our biggest mistake may have been not replacing our key players years ago. No more Henrys, Pireses, Bergkamps, Ljungbergs, Vieiras. So we went lower standard and started building a team on a budget that was a bit like the team we actually wanted, but not as good. So many of the players since have also been a bit like what we wanted, but cheaper and poorer quality. And now that we've lost the FA Cup and are all but guaranteed no Champions League football for at least one more season, this is how things are bound to continue. Why would Draxler, Lemar, or anyone we could actually want, wish to come to play for us?

So what's it going to take to turn the club back around and get us back to where we're used to being?

We are selling our best player to a (old) rival and nobody even seems to care about it

Remember the meltdown when RvP left? Now nobody gives a shiiiit

No football fan should feel that way but I can’t help but just not care. That’s what Wenger has done to us

This club has become an embarrassment! No wonder Alexis wants to leave. At this point in time why would any new talented players want to get involved in this mess.

Wenger promises a "harsh" review of the latest loss to a team that may be Championship bound. Arsene, when you are conducting your "harsh" review, make sure that you are holding a mirror!
