Wednesday 17th January see Wolves travel down to South Wales for the replay of the 3rd round FA Cup tie at the Liberty Stadium.
The previous game at Molineux had some quite bizarre twists and turns with two controversial red cards and Swansea’s on loan super star Renato Sanches walking off the pitch and then storming down the tunnel with the south bank chant of “You’re just a sh** Ruben Neves" ringing in his ears.
Hopefully the replay will be a little less volatile but no less entertaining. It is generally accepted that Wolves were the better team and should have won the game, certainly they had an ample amount of chances to do so.
After the last game this is what Swansea defender Kyle Bartley had to say about Wolves.
“They are Barcelona in disguise, I thought they were very good. They’ve got some really good players and good luck to them. I think they will breeze the Championship, they are making it look easy."
Wolves youngster Morgan Gibbs-White looked very comfortable in midfield for 40 minutes until being removed as a result of Ruben Vinagre’s red card. Gibbs-White is almost certain to be given another chance on Wednesday.
New signing Rafa Mir also looked dangerous and caused the Swansea defence some problems in his brief cameo and will also expect to get more minutes this time round.
Ruben Vinagre will be unable to play due to suspension but club captain Danny Batth will be available again as his suspension has now been served.
Swansea will be without Leroy Fer due to his suspension and it remains to be seen whether Renato Sanches will play.
Swansea are fighting for their lives at the bottom of the Premiership table and with the away game against Newcastle ending in a draw and a home game against Liverpool next Saturday, Carlos Carvalhal may well weaken his FA cup squad even more in favour of league survival.
Gem’s prediction: 0-2

I would take second for sure.
As for player of the season, Coady has done great but let's not kid ourselves he is player of the season, it is just a hipster choice like saying 'all the foreigners but it's our boy that is the best'.
Think Boly should probably get it but Neves, Saiss and Jota also been excellent and overall not a single player would score less than a 7/10.

Just been checking the results tonight and I see to my surprise that Bod got a hat trick for Reading tonight. Yes that's Jon Dadi Bodvarsson with three (3) goals in a single match. Was only Stevenage mind you.

Find it interesting that not a single player of ours who left this summer either permanently or on loan has done anything worth a shat.
Bodvarsson easily the best of those we let go mind and think he could have been useful at times this season despite being a pretty poor finisher.

I'd give POTS to Coady right now. Neves is pushing him close though. If Jota and Bonatini start hitting the net again soon though, its going to be a scrap.
