With all the silly figures going around for Aubamayeng, Malcom & Mkhitaryansjdofh0 I reckon we should be looking at something for the future and a lot cheaper. Moussa Dembele has been very good in a very substandard league enough that his quality has been noticed by a few in the PL.
Now I know what you all are thinking. βAnyone can shine in that tinpot league for that second-rate football club", but hear me out. Heβs definitely a player with a lot of talent and heβs shown that in the SPL and in Europe. Heβs quick, has a decent finish, and can play in any of the forward positions.
Reckon we should be looking to get him in for the long term. Β£10m should do it.
Discuss.
Moussa Dembele

Cant believe Dembele was missed by the EPL clubs after a great season as a teenager with Fulham in 2015-16. He was on fire with us (SPFL & Europe) last season. Injuries have taken their toll a bit this year but if he picks up again between now and end of season theres no doubt £25m is a reasonable asking price when you conisder some of the dross going for massive fess in England (john Stones)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
John Stone's fee was that high because a) He's English b) He played for an established PL club. The cost of replacing him with a similar talent would be high, thus the price (plus the usual English talent tax).
Sorry mate but the cost of Celtic replacing Dembele would be low. Look at Scott Sinclair. Couldn't hack it in the PL and barely raised a look at the Championship, yet doing well at Celtic. Celtic can pick up Iwobi and he'll pull up trees in the SPL.
£18m is a very reasonable fee.

Be careful now - The way Arsenal are going there's a better chance you will be playing York City

Would still be a bigger challenge than Celtic or nay other club in the Scottish leagues would pose.
