As most Liverpool supporters on here will agree, I have always been a huge admirer of Andy Carroll.
When he joined Liverpool I regularly posted -"Andy Carroll £35m " on their threads, highlighting how little they had actually paid for a player of his quality and potential and laughing at the absolutely ridiculous bargain they had attained.
Now, it seems we may well be the beneficiaries of the services from this truly gifted pony tailed Adonis and I for one am utterly overjoyed by the possibility.
So I'm looking forward to plenty of knowledgeable football fans on here showering our board with - "Andy Carroll £20m " and will be taking each one as a compliment, in the same way you took mine.
Andy Carroll - An honest appraisal...

Tell you what though, for a player of limited ability, he's sure led a charmed life in terms of contracts and wages.

The first game he scored a brace or something there will be the ‘get him on the plane’ headlines before the World Cup.

He'll score the goal to put Barca out or something mad like that and injure himself in the process

Carroll will forever be labelled as 'a great option off the bench' for England, and that 'the likes of Spain and Brazil will hate playing against him'.

I'm still assuming this all just goes away quietly

If you sign him it's great for a laugh, and if not then the narrative we'll opt for is that you got snubbed by Andy Carroll

watching the big lump can be amusing but I can imagine if you ask other pl defenders he'll be on most lists of players they would least likely want to face but still

Will always love that header he scored against Sweden at Euro 2012.
