Well here we are the last game in January, hope you are all on a high and looking forward to the long rest until a week on Friday thanks to being knocked out of the cup. Today sees 4th bottom or top of the mini league Bolton take on bang in mid table Ipswich in 12th. A lot at stake. Despite the defeat at Brentford Bolton are 3 wins out of 5 and a win at the macron today could possibly see Bolton 4 points clear of the relegation zone. Ipswich meanwhile are 4 points behind the playoffs. While good at home Ipswichs away form is poor and have lost 8 of the last 11 away. Team news. The only player definitely out is Darren pratley. Possible return today for Karl Henry. The rest who knows what parky has up his sleeve.

PP desperately needs a new washing machine all that sweating means he'll have to change three times a day he smells and he's already had a little accident in the rear of his tracksuit bottoms when reminded it's match night tomorrow night.
Was there logic and careful planning in preparation for yesterday ? Nobody is be believing it was down to Lee's list.

Is Kramer vs Kramer on this weekend ? I hear PP has it on dvd and has ordered in the popcorn.
You can hire it for free now an ad in the Beano says. Does PP go Dutch with Phil ?

A very interesting last day of the transfer window. Madine sold for an undisclosed fee, thought to be around £6 million plus a possible £2 million in bonuses. Clough and Burke come home on loan, and couple of other arrivals. All four on loan.
Madine was always going to be sold if a decent offer came in and I suppose that the fee was about right. Ken had taken a look at the petty cash tin yesterday morning and it was empty.
It's to be hoped that Ken and PP have got it right as the fee brought in from the sale of Madine, will in all probability, just about cover the loss in TV rights and a possible loss of cash flowing through the turnstiles should we be relegated.
However, my glass is half full. If Clough can re-produce his old form and the other new arrivals can add something to the team, we should be OK. That is of course if PP can change his style of play to suit the loss of Madine.

Flanagan has to do 40 hours' unpaid work as part of his community sentence. Now maybe "work" is a generous way to describe playing football, that would be enough to start every match for the rest of the season without us having to pay a penny in wages! Personally I think being forced to play for Bolton counts as "inhuman or degrading treatment" under Article 3 of the ECHR

I can’t see Parky playing football, but this guy Kramer as to be better than Madine, if we can get £6mil for him at the end of the season bring it on.
Onwards and upwards

Parky is in shock he's seen the price of a new shirt and printing a name on it.
To add to his troubles he can't think what name to have on it somebody suggested Karacan but they were executed at sun down for having the nerve to mention that name to PP.

Ken gave us plenty to think and worry about when he mentioned the 6 games this month. A month of tinkering with a changed squad PP is going to have to double his overtime in the laboratory.
I hope his lab monkeys (squad) can cope with it all.

Does the round peg go in the square hole ? give me a clue I'm trying to help PP out with his team sheet for tonight he's very distracted and won't stop crying.
Are we all excited on a match day for a change today up and ready for a new beginning.
