Although they cover up an incredible amount of bad decisions and bad refereeing against us and some other clubs in their reports and on MOTD, BBC can be relied upon not to just make up transfer rumours as they of course aren't looking to sell you a newspaper.
However, is this just us going through the motions like usual? In talks, then failing to agree a price and giving the usual excuses about how they: 'tried their best' to the fans?
Or is there a realisation of just how many real fans feel more detached from the club they love than ever this season due to recent on-goings, dropping out of the Champions League and our current league position? Perhaps Emerick's arrival will be announced as $anchez departs to quell the fuss that may kick up about the latter? That actually seems to be the type of thing our board & manager would do.
What would Aubameyang bring to Arsenal and should we get our hopes up here?

People are still backing and supporting Wenger?
Unbelievable.
Question remains. Even if Arsenal do sign Auba what will the formation be?
2 up front?
On top of that Arsenal need to sort out their defence and midfield.
Wenger is a scrub.

It is not about backing Wenger or not. It's about being honest. Wenger surely not to blame for not spending money.

GT - don’t be silly. Wenger has chosen plenty of times not to spend when the funds are not there
From this transfer window onwards though, I won’t blame him for not spending money. It seems like his power is being taken away from him and the likes of Mkhi and Auba aren’t even his signings according to most sources. If we don’t spend money, perhaps it’s because we are saving what we can for the next manager.
I dunno if this is Wenger’s last season but thank fack this is definitely his last contract. No way will he extend when power is being taken away from him and signings being made over his head

I also think this is the case. We'll never know until after he retires

On the subject of wages, in the summer and this window we will have got rid of
Sanchez
Coq
Walcott
Ox
Gibbs
Gabriel
Szczesny
I think they all went after Laca and Kola came in so thats nearly £1/2m a week in wages freed up.

How can we still be on the wage bill grind ffs. I've not heard about any other club having trouble getting players due to the high wage bill totals.
We got rid of countless players during the summer and basically replaced Alexis wages with Micky. So the only increase will be coming from PEA if we get him and maybe Ozil if he signs a new deal.
Forget about the fact we got rid of 140k for walcott, got rid of Coq who was on min 60k and then offered Jack less money.

Most players wages go up 5%-10% every year though so our wages are forever getting higher even if we are offloading big earners
