Weird that everyone is laughing at VVD after a good, but not absolutely perfect, game. Shows how desperate they are to have a go I guess.

Swansea barely got out of their own half. Of course he had an easy game. The one important thing he had to do he got horribly wrong though.

I thought swansea were pretty good going forward, ayew really had them on the back foot.

Well not really. He created two very good chances at the other end, was very composed throughout, and as both of the CB pundits pointed out, it wasn’t really his ball to win....he only got a touch on it because the players in front of him failed to win it, and it was a stretch for him to get a touch on it at all.

But that’s football talk, I expect you’ll want to get back to the Punch and Judy stuff.

He read the game well and also made a couple of good deliveries at the other end. The goal was unfortunate. He had a swarm of players in his way.

Yes Virgil headed the ball in the danger zone...but it was not Virgil’s fault only... it was a lapse of concentration for all unfortunately

I think the corner leading to the goal - the error committed by liverpool is that there were 8 of them in the box - and 2 outside the box...though in the box 4 clustered to the right of the gk and the other 4 were all on the left - hence sor the swans kicking the ball towards the goal in the middle was the easiest thing to do.
