Men against boys

I'm just watching Chelsea v Oxford on Chelsea tv. They are playing in the checkatrade trophy quarter finals and doing ok ( 2 nil up after 25 minutes)

A couple of thoughts, this is a serious competition for the lower league clubs and whilst Oxford are playing under a interim manager having recently sacked theirs, the squad is a strong one. Our boys are doing okay and could be 4 nil up right now, Ampadu is playing well at the back but in my opinion Chalobah is doing even better.

The crowd is strange, it's at the bridge and Chelsea wise we have the sort of numbers you'd expect for a youth game (3or4 blocks in the east lower) however Oxford must have about 3k as they look like they have what would be a full away allocation in the shed end.

It's basically our development squad though some still qualify and will play in the youth cup.
