FA Cup History..
This will be our 6th meeting in the cup, the first was won by Birmingham in 1914, there were 3 ties in the early 70's then the last one which Town won on 5th January 2008, at that time Birmingham were in the Premierr League & we were n league one.. Goals from Luke Beckett & Chris Brandon gave us a famous ( ish ) win that day...
Both teams have other priorities this season, staying in our respective divisions of course.
Both will make changes to the teams, but I think out 2nd team is better that Birmingham's who's fans should make a great noise from behind that goal, they have the full end too..
This is a match where we need to score some goals, give confidence to our strikers, midfielders wingers who all need goals.
We've had some tussles with Birmingham down the years, 1995 the last day Birmingham went up as champs that year, Barry Fry was all over our pitch,,,,, we won the play offs to join them. ( that was the season were only 2 teams went up due to the Premier League reducing to 20 clubs. )
2001............. last day again... they relegated us, and enjoyed doing so.
Lets reach the 5th round, score some goals, in preparation for Liverpool on Tuesday............then Old Trafford........... still living the dream ??????

I cant get a ticket for old trafford next week!...p!sses me off tbh cos i will go regardless who we are playing and the 10 year season ticket holders cherry pick their games and only buy for the big games leaving us more loyal fans who attend virtually every away game missing out on games like this!...its all bloody wrong!

Do you think that the winner playing Man Ur at home in the next round makes it more of an incentive to win the replay?
We could do with just concentrating on staying up in the Champ (and maybe you lot consolidating your position in the PL?) but having the opportunity to rattle Mourinho is tempting...
