Had a wee look...rangers have managed an amazing one point more than at the same stage last season.

The Celtic one is straightforward. If you take the first 23 games (same as rangers), Celtic have 54 points. Last season, iirc, Celtic only had one draw before Christmas ..so would have had 67 points.

Just demonstrates what is clear to me...Celtic aren't playing as well in the league and there is no real improvement evident yet for rangers.

Agreed Mags and would also think, but not 100% sure, that a lot of Celtics wins this season have been by the odd goal whereas last season they were winning many by 2 or 3

I am quite sure Celtic will strengthen before the end of the window though
