I agree, these youth players look like they are taking their chances when given the opportunity - something that the previous lot have struggled to. I do think some of their continuing progression relies on Conte sticking at Chelsea (and Chelsea sticking with Conte, of course!)

It's a great lift in mood seeing the youngsters come on and do well. Hope they get more chances going forward and also that we really kick on from here.

I have to say Bats had a really good game, just like he did against Swansea. I've never been his biggest fan, but his goals per min ratio must be pretty good. I'm beginning to think he's probably as good an option as anyone that we bring in - admittedly I'm being fickle but I'm now hoping that we stick with him rather than bringing in someone new.
Just wish his hold up play was better, he still frustrates me giving the ball up so easily.

The hold up play will improve with more game time. And I agree, he had a very good game.

He wasn't that good. He scored the first with a tap-in, after admittedly making himself available in the box (which he's pretty good at). He was lucky with the second, although he made space with a decent run that allowed Hazard to put him through. And he created that chance at the end, when he went for goal but should have passed. He's ok - average at best. Nowhere near good enough for Chelsea. He has all the physical attributes - but I just don't think he has the footballing brain that is needed from a top player.

He's ok for a number 2 striker. The potential to improve is there for all to see and we all know he's not the finished article but with some more gametime he could turn out to be a very good role player for us.

CHO looked comfortable in his few minutes, already looks more robust than Musonda

Batshuayi was brilliant today. Hes been poor in general but credit when its due and it could give the club something to think about.
Hudson-Odoi looked very good also... Great touch, Didnt want to play easy balls and looked to have a touch of arrogance about him, promising!
Ampadu also had a solid game, doesn't look out of place at all!

Batshuyi is given a rough time, barely been given a chance and has scored a fair amount of goals.
Better goalscorer than moratta
