Last nights Blue Moon

I have to confess that I never seen it although I am sure that many on here did so the question is was it a good goal?

You got a time machine Eck?

It's tonight.

Super, Blood, and Blue together.

Not happened since the 1860's.

Will only be observed in Pacific Ocean zones.

Should be some cracking pics tomorrow in the media tho.

I live in Perth WA, and it was awesome!

The moon rose in the sky at sunset at around 7.00pm and the eclipse started just before 8pm. By 9pm it was copper coloured.

Cheers for that G3r5.

Stunning images.

Although I'm in breathtaking winter scenes in Lochaber in the

West Highlands I'm jealous.

Total sucker for astronomy.

Perth WA?

What were you Transported for mate?

Stealing grain from a Robber Baron's grain store?

Just so your children could see the morn?

Good man yersel.

Ha ha, I have came out to live with my family in Australia a few times, most recently last summer. Hopefully we stay this time.

Yes , the night skys are clear most of the time here and there is not too much light pollution, so the stars are really bright at night so I have taken a bit of an interest in astronomy since I got here too

The eclipse was great to see.

That winter scene you are in sounds nice. Scotland has some amazing scenery. The grass always seems greener no matter where you end up.

Was it super moon or blood moon we could see about 2 years ago? I remember staying up to see it with a fair drink in me.

I don't recall any blood moon in UK for a while, I do remember a super moon though, so it was probably that

G3r5

I've never been to the antipodes.

To see the Southern Cross is on my bucket list.

I was in the Hebrides late 90's and saw the Total Lunar Eclipse.

Absolutely staggering.
