Change of style?

4-1-4-1 anyone?

Kane
Son Dele Eriksen Moura
Dier
Davies Vert Toby Trippier
Lloris

Fullbacks would have stick to their defensive duties, we’re not the same team without Walker and fit Rose, so need some fresh ideas. Not too dissimilar to how Man City line up, fitting in De Bruyne and Silva. Danny and Aurier to start depending on opposition. Some great options on the bench; Sanchez, Wanyama, Dembele, Winks and Lamela could all make a case to start depending on fitness.

Been very disappointed with Llorente and Sissoko, sounded like good signings on paper but neither fill me with any confidence when they’re on the pitch. The former to come on as a sub to protect Kane, the latter shouldn’t be in the squad at all, if there’s no injuries.

Desperate for a new signing, plenty to play for with Fa cup, Top 4 and a a good run in Champions League, fingers crossed!

Wanyama and Dier a massive no for me. Always looks slow and neither offer much going forward. One or the other.

Like Bielsa's Chile formation. Madness, very difficult to defend against but heavily reliant on pressing high up the pitch to avoid getting caught short at the bag

i was mainly accommodating Son into a sort of 5 at the back formation. Dembele doesnt play much anymore and Dier always plays.

we have lots of options to try now.

Bored of watching the fullbacks over lapping, then when they receive the ball, it just being passed back to the centre mid and moved to the other side. No quick crosses, all too slow and easy to defend against. It’s why we struggle against West Ham, to predictable.

thing is we have a striker (Llorente) who requires quick balls into the box for him to g et on to. that is the only service worth giving to h im, and yet still we don't do that

also alli and kane love to get on the end of crosses, so its frustrating when they do that

I find if you fire a cross early across the box, you often end up with a corner at the least.

Very true, I do feel sorry for the likes of Llorente and Jansenn because we just haven’t played to their strengths. Our style means we rely on Kane who can make a goal from nothing, take him out the side and we look poor.

We need a plan B (or even a new plan A) because at times we’re so predictable. Plenty of possession but very few shots if a team defends in numbers. Get Son and hopefully Moura running down the wings and putting balls in the box for Kane and Dele. Simple.

Don’t have to shoehorn them all into the team, wouldn’t mind seeing players earn their places. Besides, Lucas Moura has played little football this season so will lack match sharpness.

Happy with the signing though, wanted him several years ago before he went to PSG.

If those players could keep to that standard, then that’s our starting 11 WHAT A PERFORMANCE!
