Dunno about most people but for me, I was convinced last Summer that we would lose Alexis and Ozil on free transfers and get no decent replacements in for them. Was also convinced Jack was finished as a top level footballer.
If you told me that a few months later, we would have signed Aubameyang, Mkhi, and tied Ozil down to a new contract, along with getting Jack back to his old self I would have called you an idiot.
We’ve done very well from a bad situation, being the loss of Alexis.
Now all we have to do is get a new manager, defence, goalkeeper, midfielder, etc
We’ve got out of a hole

Evans isn’t happening now.
I’m guessing AMN or chambers will cover RB

This has definitely been a good window. Sold of the bloated squad and got in good quality. What a difference a Director of football and a top quality chief scout makes. No waiting around for Wengers dithering.
However would have liked a more athletic holding player.

Times are changing (maybe)!
Unfortunately its a transfer window too late for this season as we still have a few key positions clearly needing to be strengthened. I think winning the Europa has to be our priority now, although extremely risky to throw all our hopes on.
Then if we can enter the summer with CL football in the bag and a trophy in the cabinet, we should be able to attract the right kind of players required to get us competing again.
Realistically though, we will crash out of the Europa, finish 5th or 6th and sign Johnny Evans in the summer. Class.

I think Arsenal has done pretty decent business they have had the best years out of Sanchez he is only going to decline as he hits his 30’s united paying him 400 grand a week when he is 33 is hilarious to me

Can't believe you sold Giroud at all, one of the most underrated strikers in the league
Bizzare move
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is a bizzare move as most of the pundits it is a bad deal. But you have to consider that if Giroud would'nt have moved to Chelsea the deal with Dortmund couldnt have finalised. After Alexis exit, Wenger was under pressure to present a "new" saviour in Aubameyang after Laca struggle a bit.
Giroud was moreless "sacrificed". He was key to the merry go round deal. Personally Giroud could live with that. Continue to live in London, moves to a big club as his career comes slowly to an end.

Fully agree. Yes all in all Sanchez who wanted out of Arsenal give us a new kick in a different direction.
