Apparently Mahrez didn’t turn up to training but also didn’t let anyone at the club know where he was. Puel has to change his tactics at the last minute when it became evident he wasn’t travelling. They still haven’t heard from him.....

wow, if that is true that's pretty out of order by Riyad. Thought he had his head screwed on better than that. Oh to me a fly on the wall at the training ground tomorrow.

I think we will be. Players will want to get back on track. Don't usually see two back to back poor performances. (better not tempt fate though)

Best thing to do wrt Mahrez is give it time to let things calm down. I have a degree of sympathy for him, but he still has to knuckle down and get back on with it.

I have no sympathy apart from no other team values him highly enough to pay for him.

Acting like a spoilt child and having a pathetic 'statement' issued on his behalf does him no favours.

Oh, he wanted to play for Pep did he, before it was Arsenal, Roma and Barcelona or who ever was linked with him.

Just a mercenary who's not actually thought of by other Clubs as much as he does about himself.
