This club has really given a roller coaster of a ride to fans. Now let me start by saying Walcott and Giroud were good, solid players for the club in their time. Never really had enough to be first team players that can lead the team to glory but as far as subs go, you aren't going to find any better. Now Alexis on other hand is complete opposite. He did lead us to glory and various other inspirations for the team. Losing him is a hard one.
But letting go of Walcott and Giroud, we've added Lacazette and PEA. These two have been some of the best strikers in Europe in recent seasons. Genuine top notch names. Lacazette hasn't hit the ground running but I really don't think he's played any worse than the likes of other big name signings, especially Xhaka. If anything his performances have been a reflection on the team. There are players who've played worse than our position in the table suggests.
Now PEA's pace replaces Walcott's. But with actual consistent ability on top. I don't expect him to do miracles either with the way the team is playing, but still doesn't stop me from being excited.
Alexis has been replaced by Mikhitariyan. He's not been great since joining utd, but there's hope he can find his Dortmund form again. No doubt Alexis is the better player, but it's no where near the difference of either Walcott/Giroud to Lacazette/PEA. So overall we've definitely improved on paper.
Now Ozil signing a contract is huge. He'd have been the hardest to replace simply because the sort of player he is. Need Wilshere to sign one as well.
Cech and Xhaka need to be shipped ASAP. Wenger too despite signing big time recently. After last night shocker, today's news definitely did a 180. This PEA signing has me just as hyped as when we signed Ozil. Didn't expect either to come of, due to both being absolutely massive names.
Arsenal full of hope and misery

Excellent additions, but as always Arsenal's attack is always excellent never really has lacked.
You guys just need to sort your defense out, full backs are alright but your CB's are all so $hit, to be fair you did try with Evans but even then he's really not great.
Arsenal just need to go all out for 2 top class CB's in the summer if they really want to get back to PL title challenging level

Really sad to see Ollie go ...He gave us something different.. Not really sold on Lacazette. Ligue 1 is a relatively easy league to score goals in.
We badly need a new top keeper and a commanding CB. Ospina and Cech are not good enough. Kos with his achilles problem is not the player he used to be and Mustafi is far too inconsistent.
We need to replace Wenger at the end of the season if not before. He has no idea how to coach a defence. Just look at our away form this season. I would take Don Carlo tomorrow.

Ollie too came from Ligue 1 and even Ligue 2, he was a late bloomer.

Lacazette doesn't get any service from the games I've seen, it's going to be difficult to win the EL without Ollie

I’m sorry he’s had plenty of service. Remember him being through against Newcastle at home and choosing to chip instead of smash it in. Had gd chances vs chelsea both in league and cup. Sick of fans making excuses for him. It’s obvious Aubameyang has been brought in cause he’s not doing the business.
