The two players that spring to mind immediately, given their recent depatures, are Theo and Giroud. Now neither of them were blessed with exceptional talent but both loved the club and gave us some great moments.
I've found it to be very rare to feel happy for an ex-player when so many of them either left us on poor terms (Van Persie, Nasri, Adebayor) or were just bang average or worse (Gervinho, Chamakh, Sanogo) leaving me feeling not especially bothered about them.
I'm happy seeing Theo scoring goals for Everton, but weirdly I don't want the Ox to do well at Liverpool... why is that? Because Liverpool are a bigger club? Or because the Ox chose to abandon us whereas we chose to move Theo on? I bet when he puts on an England shirt I'll feel happy for him again though.
Similarly for Giroud, he went to Chelsea which does dampen my enthusiasm a little, but not massively - he'd still be a gunner if we hadn't brought in better quality than him, and I hope our fans give him a standing ovation next time we see him play. If he starts scoring lots of goals for Chelsea I'll be torn as I'll be happy for him on a personal level, but obviously don't want to see a rival club doing well.
Sanchez again I'm not sure, I watched his Utd debut expecting to feel bitter but I didn't, although maybe that was because it was against Yeovil rather than helping Man U to beat another PL team.
What are your thoughts on some of our recent departures? Happy for some of them? Are others dead to you the minute they leave the club or do you just sever any ties you had to them and become indifferent?
Feeling good about ex-players?

Just watch Giroud start scoring goals for Chelsea. The players you are moving on are doing the business elsewhere

The media are dying to convince everyone that Ox has evolved as a player this season but I don't see any difference with him from when he was with us.
Walcott and Giroud will both score goals. Walcott in particular will be a signing to come back hurt us. It's pretty disgraceful that we sold him at a time where we can't score goals and don't look threatening at all.
Also the fact that Welbeck is as preferred over him.
Giroud will score as goals for Chelsea as well.
I don't get it, why do we sell our players so cheap?

I always liked both Theo and Giroud, shame both have gone, wanted to keep them. i still don't understand how Iwobi and Welbeck were ahead of Theo. I wish them both well, I think Giroud will do well. Theo has already got off to a good start with Everton. Just hope he won't perform well against us at the weekend!

When people talk about Giroud I still think they're talking about Djourou

Chelsea are so bad, how is Giroud going to do any better? Walcott however may as he's found his level.

Always knew Theo will do well, play to his strengths and he will get you goals and assists. His perfect position is as a wide forward or a second striker.

By his level, you mean our level, hardly a million miles better than Everton are we.

Am happy for Theo, very happy indeed am going to start watching Everton. He scored 19 goals for us last season and the next thing he becomes a bench warmer because the mentioned the obvious. Please Theo score for me more 8 goals and you will make my season.

In 2 games, Theo has 1 assist and 2 goals wow!. In our team we have to wait for Monreal to scrappy one goal for us.
