Has there ever been a club as dominant ?

What I was going to ask - if there had been enough characters - was has there ever been a club in English football as dominant as Manchester City ? I don't mean purely in performance terms, because the obvious answer to that would be the Liverpool sides of the 1980s. But in terms of dominating the market, and restricting the players that are likely to become available to other teams.

Every player going knows that no other club will rival manchester city's wages, or ability going forward to win trophies. What chance is there for the other clubs to compete, and is there any way for the impending monopoly on english football this club is about to have, to be reversed ?

Does anyone stop Spurs from investing in their team?
You have a billionaire owner plus the advantage of being in London. If you don't win the league with these obvious head starts, then maybe you should look inwards rather than trying hard to blame others for your club's failure.

Yes, Spurs do have a billionaire owner, but thankfully he is not going down the City route of trying to buy trophies. Where is the pride in your club in doing that. Any team with unlimited cash could do the same.

I am proud that Spurs have built a squad able to compete without having to bribe players to join our club.

|But clearly not able to compete, where is the pride in having players like Dirty Alli who just try to injure others better than him?

Aguero is kicked from pillar to post most weeks, , and if you can point out the challenges the others have made this season that compare with dirty Alli's cowardly assaults on KDB and Sanchez that would be good. Fernandinho was guilty in the past I agree but I think Pep has reined him in this season. Alli is just a thug though.

City have some of the dirtiest players in the Prem.

A little ankle tap is a cowardly assault. Get a life you northern wimp.

You have deli ali probably the most dirty cheating playing in the prem.

He will be gone soon though, “if he wants medals and trophies”

A little ankle tap? I suggest you review what he did to KDB. It was alright though as it made the Ginger One angry and when he gets angry he runs the length of the pitch and scores. While you are at it review Kane's studs up 'tackle' on Sterling.

so in answer to the questions raised then ? :

a) has there ever been a club in England more dominant of the transfer market than man city now ?

b) is there anything that the other clubs can do about it ?

c) what does the future hold ?

You will see that he regularly lines up in the first choice City team this season.

PS I think he had a screw loose.
