why not let Jones play in his natural position he has hardly ever played cm and never for us, plus I dont like people being played out of position. And how anyone can choose Welbeck over Chicha right now is beyond me. Hernandez did so much for us last season and his overall game is improving all the time, and he loves the club.

even when fit i think both smalling and jones are ahead of him atm at rb.. they just dont seem to be making mistakes, how can fergie not play one of them in that pos for the big games.

Anyway the above team has everything imo, especially a super solid defense, creativity, and masses of attacking pace!

Smalling doesnt offer anything going forward. He can't cross and looks clumsy running with the ball over long stretches

Jones is wasted at right back. His heading ability, reading of the game and inspiration are better suited for the middle

Rafael can attack and defend, has endless energy, brazilian flair yet english grit and determination. He makes mistakes, yes, but he is potentially a class RB. People need to stop assuming the Da Silva twins have exact pros and cons just because they look identical.

Rafael is better than Fabio is atm.

Rafael is our best RB without a doubt. He is the fastest of them all, Very good on the ball, great going forward and can defend effectively. The way he handled in form Bale soon after he humiliated maicon is truly admirable.

He made mistakes. he learned from them and developed into a Very solid RB. he put in some great performances for us last season. Playing Jones and Smalling at RB is a temporary solution imo. I expect Rafael to go straight into the first team when he return unless we are playing Stroke or Blackburn.
