Bournemouth 1 - 2 Portsmouth
Paqueta(Cunha, 33) - Griezmann(KDB, 16), KDB(FK, 59)
MOTM - KDB
Portsmouth dominated the early parts of this game and scored early on, but Paqueta in particular started to pose them problems and he equalised on 33, he outshone the Portsmouth midfield until the break but they couldn't get on the score sheet again, Portmsouth turned it up a gear and for large spells dominated and they got there reward when KDB was judged to have been brought down just outside the area. Bournemouth pushed on but just couldn't get another equaliser.
Newcastle 3 - 2 Birmingham
Salah(Kante,3), Suarez(James,24), Lukaku(James, 81)
Higuain(Neres, 32), Benzema(Phillipp, 72)
MOTM - James
A very entertaining game with both sides showing there attacking qualities, 5 goals were shared with supersub Lukaku coming on to get the winner.
Spurs 2 - 1 Hull City
Aguero(Eriksen,42), Eriksen(FK,68) - Mariano(Thauvin,52)
MOTM - Eriksen
Spurs and Hull also went at it, Hull imo just lacking that leader type at the back and at times they let the Spurs attack through, if not for Perin it could have been by a couple more, they battled well up front and caused Spurs their own problems, but the class of Eriksen won them the game in the end
Leicester 3 - 1 Arsenal
Ronaldo(Hazard,6), Ronaldo(Hazard, 79), Costa(Hazard, 83)
Cavani(Manolas,14)
Danilo 62
MOTM - Hazard
An early goal ruined the away sides defensive strategy, as they knew they had to score and they did, a long ball by Manolas to Cavani who took it well, swivelled and shot home, they went back to defending as Leicester attacked and they shut them out well, however, a reckless challenge by Danilo on Hazard ruined Arsenals game plan as the home side dominated the final 25 mins and scored two more as Arsenal struggled to cope one man down
Liverpool 1 - 0 Man City
Dybala(Sancho, 84)
MOTM - Rodri
A finely balanced game with nothing in it, not much happening, a few glimpses of class but not much in front of goal, this was down to excellent defending by both sides as legs grew weary it was young Sancho coming on for a cameo appearance he darted to the bye-line, cut back in side and drilled it in for Dybala to slot it home for the only goal of the game

Everton vs Chelsea
The home team settled into the game much quicker than their opponents, with the hard working wide men pulling Chelsea's full backs away from the back line and allowing Lacazette more breathing space. Chelsea's pressing in the middle overwhelmed Everton's but left gaps for long balls to undo them and that happened early on when a long ball from the back was expertly knocked on by Lacazette into the path of Son who, getting goal-side of Vrsaljko, slotted beyond the onrushing Oblak.
Going down seemed to galvanise the Chelsea team, and they started getting their foot on the ball more often, trying to create holes in the Everton defence. Their main potential source came in the contest between Mbappe and Cucurella - with the French winger's dribbling skills in full force. And on such occasion, he managed to drive to the byline ahead of the defender and fired a low ball across the 6 yard box, where it was met by the foot of Belotti as he managed to get in between the centre backs.
Late on, substitutions impacted the styles of both teams, with both going more attacking and Neymar being given more of a free reign up top. He was up to his usual antics here after feigning contact to the head after losing out on a high ball. Fooled, the referee awarded a free kick in a dangerous position, which Neymar promptly dispatched, grogginess apparently dealt with, in the dying embers of the game.
Score:
Everton 1 - 2 Chelsea
Everton goalscorer(s): Son (Lacazette) 12'
Chelsea goalscorer(s): Belotti (Mbappe) 58, Neymar (FK) 89
