We were also asked by UEFA to take Uniteds place in the European cup. We refused and said we would instead do everything possible to allow United to continue in it and offered to transfer any players they wanted immediately to them.

Thanks for that Melton. I've never hated another football club or their fans.
Because they are just like me, only they got taken to watch another team rather than mine.
Plenty of people rallied round to help, they would today too.
