Christensen Azpilicueta Fabregas Pedro Willian, we appear to have plenty. Lots of Champions in that list. Not only with Chelsea but Barcelona too.

Courtois and Hazard are world class, and will be very difficult to replace when they inevitably go. We have Azpi, Christensen, Kante, Willian and Morata who are all excellent (I still believe in Morata) - but the standard falls off after that. If the rumours are true and we intend to replace Courtois with Hart, then the board seem intent on turning us into Everton. I can only imagine they think a core of English players will return us to the days of Terry, Lampard, Ashley and Joe Cole. But they are forgetting that merely being English doesn't make the team good - you have to have the best English players. And Hart, Cahill, Drinkwater and Barkley are definitely not the best. If that's going to be the core of our team, I think we should get used to a stint in mid-table at best.

The core was never Terry, Lampard, Cole and Joe Cole.

It was Cech, Terry, Lampard and Drogba.

We just need to buy better players. Can't make good omelettes with Class 3 eggs.

Madrid are one of, if not the biggest club in the world, yeah I hate losing great players but, consistently, we're just not on their level and them showing interest in our players is flattering.

Be gutted to see him go but we make the most of him while we have such a great keeper, do business right, get a big fee and a good replacement. When that time comes. Thankfully there are now some very good keepers about we could be in for, unlike a few years back when he really was a gem in a sparse keeper market.
