Right now Magnum the process for people going down the legal route is being put on the back burner, as Trump is putting all of the USCIS workers on getting illegals or DACA people out.

I personally have not been given a new green card since last year, only a bit of paper, my decision could take upto another 8months even though I should of been able to get my Citizenship this March.

If Your Employer is your sponsor, I am not sure how that would work and how quickly, never took that route myself.

Would be Wisconsin based but might be able to stretch it to Chicago.

They've done it a few times and gave good processes and connections to get it done.

I've told them I dont want to get involved in any of that. Don't want any hassle with property, etc. They can rent me an apartment. I'll open a bank account as I guess I would need to but that will be it.

If your Employers are sorting it and getting their Lawyers to do all the paperwork they should be on the game, get that social number, there should not be any hassles.
