Well that was embarrassing.
Arsenal were made to look like children.
Dominated from start to finish.
Tottenham more than deserved that win.
And we were lucky it wasn't a heavy defeat by 4 goals or more.
Did we create a single clear cut chance other than the Lacazette one towards the end?
The thing is Arsenal is such a boring topic to discuss because we've all talked about all these things to death.
We've signed two good players in Auba and Mkhi, yet we won't be utilising them properly.
Especially the former.
Auba is a genuine game changer with his speed.
Arsenal just don't have any sort of system in place. It's clear they're just told to go out and play.
This is down to the coach.
I don't think Wenger does any sort of research on his opposition. We had loads of bodies in the middle. But they played down the flanks, in particular the right side.
Bellerin was getting bodied down there.
Kinda miss when we had Sagna. He used to lock things down on that side. But I'm digressing here.
To cut a long story short. No matter how good a player we sign, we just won't be able to cut it unfortunately.
With Wenger at the helm we're going to continue being also rans.
But I'm sure we've accepted this fact by now.
The Problem Is That We Have No System

Wenger is staying and will probably sign a contract extension mate.

To be honest mate I think he will go at the end of this season unless he wins the Europa

Everybody is getting a bit carried away tbh.
Spurs payed very well in all areas of the pitch and we matched them and held strong in the first half.
We fell apart when Kane scored and lost all discipline defensively. Omg Kane can get up high can’t he?
Wilshere got a couple of nice balls through and Auba latched onto one only to be judged offside (looked onside to me but never mind).
If we had the same Miki who played last week we would have had more of a chance but for some reason he was off today.
We turned over possession too easily in the second half but we still could have got a result if Lakazete had some confidence, he will get it back and Miki will have a good game again.
The positive is that in the first half we defended well and you can see that they have been working on it. I will give it another couple of games before I start throwing my toys out of the pram like most of you lot on here.

No leadership on the field or sidelines. No team energy or sense of urgency. Even as time was running short, Arsenal was still passing the ball back to their own goalkeeper. Iwobi does not belong in the PL. Whoever scouted him for Arsenal overlooked his inability to pass to his own team mates!
"Embarrassing" is a mild way of putting it!

I like this Tweet from Padpy Power..
Win - 6th
Lose - 6th
Draw - 6th
Sell Sánchez - 6th
Sign Mkhitaryan - 6th
Sign Aubameyang - 6th
New Özil contract - 6th
Beat Everton 5-1 - 6th
Lose to Tottenham - 6th
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like Utd last season?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not quite that bad
We went on something like a 20 game unbeaten run (loads of draws though) and stayed 6th the whole time

Wenger does always honour his contracts but if he doesn't get champions league football, I think there is a good chance he will be gone

Wenger will probably win the Europa and get a 3 year deal. He’s Jammy like that. Like when we won the fa cup and saved his job.

Winning Europa would be a good season.
If Wenger wins another trophy this season what more could you want. The guy is still winning trophies for arsenal and taking Arsenal to cup finals. I feel sorry for Wenger I hope he retires on a high even thou Im Spurs fan...
