Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is set to hand Virgil van Dijk a start on his return to Southampton.
The Dutchman will take on his former club for the first time since his £75million January move.
Fellow defenders Ragnar Klavan and Alberto Moreno have recovered from muscle injuries to take their places in the squad.
Right-back Joe Gomez is unlikely to feature because of a minor knee problem while midfielder Adam Lallana returns after a thigh problem.

Before we play each other we have West Ham and Newcastle with Palace and Chelsea for United. Could go into the game ahead of them and you'd have to fancy us at least matching their results.
