He’s one of the few players I’ve really kept an eye out for after he’s left my club. And I’ve really wanted things to work out for him personally. He must have earned a few quid, he’s officially got a few medals on his CV, but I cannot believe he won’t look back and rue the injuries?!
With the exception of about 18 months his career seems to have been seriously stop/start then stop again.
It's weird because i keep forgetting he's not a young lad with his whole career in front of him any more. Without checking, he must be heading for 30 now?
Out of today’s generation is he up there with the ultimate “if only"?
