WEST Bromwich Albion today announce changes at the senior level of the Club.
Chairman John Williams and Chief Executive Martin Goodman have been given notice of termination of their contracts and have been placed on garden leave with immediate effect.
Following his recent appointment as a director of WBA Holdings, the Club's controlling company, Mark Jenkins is returning to be the football club's CEO.
These changes follow Albion's poor results this season which currently sees the Club at the bottom of the Premier League.
A Club spokesman said: "We would like to thank John and Martin for all their efforts since their appointments and wish them well for the future."
Mark, who was previously CEO of the football club for 14 years, ten of which were spent in the Premier League, said: "There is much to do but for now the focus must solely be on the remaining games of this season."
There will be no further comment from the Club at this time.

Well, Lai spent 150million on us.
He won't be happy losing all that money.
Shows he cares at least.

Heads rolling
It's decisive action which shows the Chinese consortium are far from happy and hopefully still in this for the long haul.

Even if we get relegated, i'm pretty sure we'll be favourites to come straight back up again given our financial clout and our parachute payments.
Might as well get the right people in before the summer.
Hopefully Jenkins will be looking into a replacement for Pardew to come in as soon as we're down.

what difference does it make at this stage though?

We didn't need warning because none of us wanted him.
Keep up!

He’s been brought in to negotiate all the sheet stuff in preparation for next season. I don’t think he minds being the bad cop!

I'm surprised Hammond and Garlick haven't been shown the door too.
Good to see Lai taking action though. I'm confident he'll do his best to ensure a swift return.
