Don't get me wrong, apart from our stupid individual errors, the whole team was superb tonight, but a special mention has to go to Erik Lamela who was outstanding and along with Dembele, was one of our standout players tonight. His pressing, energy, commitment and creativity means he is such an asset to this team. I can't believe a few people wanted him sold. He's coming back to full fitness now and has looked excellent the last few weeks. Lamela oh and what a super result tonight. We will have these guys at Wembley in my opinion no doubt about it, COYS!!!

Loved the look of Moura. I know he was only on for 5 minutes but he looked really positive and moved the ball really fast on 1 particular occasion. Can't wait to see him properly against Rochdale.

Morning Don, against Rochdale i would like to see something like this:
Vorm
Trippier Foyth Toby Rose
Wanyama Winks
Moura Lamela Son
Kane

I wanted him in the side yesterday, and he did not disappoint.
Great to have him back, and now we have better options for the 'wide' positions I hope we see a bit more of him centrally

Don, Lamela had a good game, as did the whole team. His best game since he came back in my opinion. Amusingly I see in another article, that Chicken said Poch should have substituted Lamela earlier.

Barely a mention about Juve’s first being offside recognising and accepting that these things can happen.
If we were born in liveroool we’d be crying til the second leg and have an embarrassing accent to boot.

Liverpool fans would have been whinging for weeks on that first offside goal. Spurs players and fans being much more professional, just moved on and got on with the rest of the match.
I knew it wouldn`t be long though after Spurs got two penalties in a match, they would give away two. So Spursey.

And predictably, all that Scouse Sports could do after this result was ask the question about how Spurs will struggle to keep this team together and our star players will want to leave to win trophies, they really are like a broken record. Unsurprisingly, they never say the same nonsense about their darlings Pool, who are in fact the real selling club in the top 5.

think I like about Lamela is that he is a nasty little caaaant. very professional. winning fouls in good places, little shirt pulls that go unpunished. all that good stuff that we never did for years because we were way too nice. you can tell he had his football upbringing in argentina and Italy.

I'm pretty baffled at all the praise for Lamela.
Played well, nothing special. Wouldn't make Spurs strongest 11 if all are fit.
