The Albanian community, particully in London, have a rich seem of natural footballing talent. The Albanian kids seem to play a completely different way to the rest . Generally they're small, technical, thinking type players and comfortable with the ball. Their listening skills tend to be good but you dont have to tell them much, they pick things up quickly.
They remind me of little spanish players- small, fantastic balance, thinking, skillful, clever and very natural in their play. Sometimes they'll just pull out a trick to beat someone and you think where the hell did they learn that from?
I dont understand why they play like that and it seems to go from each generation, it could be a cultural thing. I'd like to move on a couple to a higher level of coaching or set up but I'm worried they'll be ruined. I've witnessed some great talent, coming back from certain clubs, hardly being able to play any more- thats the state of play in British coaching it's shocking.
I have a couple who are as good as any out there, if not better, in terms of potential. They tick all the box's in terms of what coaches like Wenger want in kids but I wouldn't know where to start sending them to a big club like Arsenal.
They are the very essence of what I thought Wengers project is all about- a continental style set up, with players coming through from a very young age, schooled in the art of the Arsenal "Wenger ball" football. The scouts who are there at the games are from the Championship teams or lower.
I've seen kids go to Arsenal and seen the youth teams play and alot of them are not small, technical, skilful, clever players- infact alot of them are big, fast and powerful and not equiped to play a more technical game that obviously Wenger wants. I scratch my head at the whole thing top to bottom.
Arsenal dont need to go to Spain to find kids who can play the Wenger type game, they're already in London and certain communities seem to have an up and running natural academy. It's exciting and amazing to see, but a big club like Arsenal dont see it. It's a scandal these communities are not being tapped into- some of these kids could go on to play for England.
These kids will probably be lost in the great mire of systems and shoddy coaching or simply never noticed.
Every onlooker/other coach at games says to me "wow", those Albanian kids are special, like watching little Nasri's or Iniesta's. They're not necessarily the kids who win the games, score all the goals, dominate physically, infact they struggle at times physically, and they are not "the best players" but they're the ones you say they're the best footballers and potentially have the right ingredients to become very good indeed.
I worry that if these kids were in Europe they might make it, but here they will be deemed as lightweight and not physically up to our great game. Every week I see why? this country is struggling to produce top quality players at the very beggining of the chain. The whole system is ignorant- top to bottom and the media is driving it.
Great talent being wasted?

And Turkish players!

Yes we have Bunjaku who's in our U18s and from what i've seen he's the best technical player to come through our academy since Jack. As mentioned question marks over his physique and quite injury prone but a wonderful talent. He was born here in Romford though.

I'm English and I used to suck as I couldn't shoot or strike a ball properly. But every now and then I'd have 10 minutes of being completely unplayable I was that good...until I realised I was doing well that is.
Now I'm properly skillful but with no end product.
I'm Gervinho basically.
