Having read some of the comments after last night's game, I thought it was a bit unfair and downright disrespectful what some have been saying about Porto.
Perhaps fans of clubs like United have earned this right, but is it fair for fans of the likes of Spurs to call Porto names?
League titles :
Spurs 2 Last one in 1961
Porto 27 Last one in 2013
Champs League/European Cup
Porto: 2 Last one in 2004
Spurs 0 but there was this one time they made the quarter finals
Ropey League
Porto 2 Last one in 2011
Spurs 2 Last one in 1984
UEFA Super Cup
Porto 1
Spurs have probably never played in it.
Inter Continental Cup
Porto 2
Spurs have definitely never played in this one, not even a whiff.
So Porto performs better in international football than Spurs and have already achieved things that Spurs might probably quite possibly never achieve in the entire future of the sport of football as we know it.
So which is really the pub team?

Howedes doesn't even play, he's made one appearance all season.
Barzagli has been out of form and dropped a lot, he's only played 8 league games.
Cuadrado hasn't made many league appearances but fair enough they've played him in the CL group stages.
Dybala is a big threat though, so Spurs lucked out he was missing.

Nah respect were its due, Liverpool were immense last night and any Spurs fan saying otherwise is a bit silly.

Aye Porto started the better team and we had a few scares and needed some vital tackles n blocks from Trent and Lovren i think it was. I was surprised Porto committing so many forward early on and they are a good technical team who can keep the ball even when pressed well and were moving it quickly early on that brahimi looked like Spurs Dembele at times with 3 or 4 players pressing him he still kept hold.
Liverpool got the first and then just controlled the game so well, the best ive seen us manage a game under Klopp in a long time. He was yelling at them to slow it down keep the ball and the senior players doing the same Firmino organising when to press etc Virgil and Lovren were solid at the back other then some panic in possession from Lovren and Karius kicking it out of play cause there are just not a very good footballers . But no, Porto we not brilliant but at the same time not bad either they just got bullied by Liverpool once we grew in confidence and realised we were the heavyweights here.
