Whilst that was far from a polished and comprehensive performance, you showed real grit in strangling Oz and coming away with a solid win.

Your tight skills were incredible and the Aussie pack seemed castrated. I'd wished I could have seen what influence Pocock would have had, but your backrow and pals outmuscled Australia and snuffed out all their attempts to control the ball for multiple phases.

This has to be the standard that we build from.
Our pack were immense and our backs defended like champions, just need to get a wee sparkle in attack and the team will go far.
