I agree he has been our best player in a few matches but he won't be MoM in the stands and I thought his reaction was petulant and selfish in that was wasn't taking one for the team but was just getting his own back.

I thought Huddersfield were a very good team, had a good mix of flair players, battlers and players who could score goals.
Thought big Mac had a good game but our disciplinary record will cost us dearly, as we havent got a big squad.
Smith also went off injured.
What was up with McDonald and Balanta ?.
I think it was more a point gained than 3 points lost.
Any team that finishes above Huddersfield will win the league.

Well so far we have 4 points from 3 games in the dreaded September from hell. Bury away and Charlton at home await us with a crap cup tie in between.
We seem to have lost Macdonald and Balanta due to injury prior to today, Smith today and Maccer's gone and got himself a 3 match suspension.
Bury away is tough. I would take 3 points from the next two games. 7 from 5 in September wouldn't be bad given the opposition and manager of the month syndrome.
Also we must give Gleeson a rest against Burnley. I really don't care, play the ladies team if we have to.

Am furious with McKenzie - no excuses. He had a poor game yesterday, was too often out of position (midfield or up front) and did not have the legs to get back - so put pressure on the rest of the defence.
Now he's out for 3 important games for being totally stupid.
As to the team yesterday, they did well given the injuries we had - hope Smith is not going to be out of it, although at least we have Chico as cover there
Having to bring on McNamee (or was that McAndy?) shows how little we have as a squad - that said, good on him, he looks like another of our players of the future - but if we lose more (players), then we are going to struggle.

Well to be fair, Moocamp, looking back...Chadwick was a good signing for the future, no?

Chadders has been a great signing, not a product of our youth team though - as I naively thought MacManee was
He is good though, just hope his legs hold out for the season

Good game I thought! Shame about Mckenzie but its happened before with him... Tranmere away springs to mind last season! Hopefully Macdonald and Balanta will be back for Bury game, otherwise we are looking very thin on the squad front again!
