Season 2018/19 - who can seriously win it?

Looking forward to next season already. Thinking about which teams will be challenging for the league title and I can realistically see Liverpool and City challenging.

United will spend a shedload again but I can see Jose having a meltdown next season. Already at odds with Pogba (and, more importantly, his agent), Sanchez firing on no cylinders, Rashford not getting any game time, There's problems ahead and his negative outlook is already annoying United fans.

Arsenal will probably struggle, especially if Wenger is still in charge. With a new manager, he'd have to change the mindset of his underperforming players and quite a few of them are simply not good enough. If Wenger stays, they might not even make the top 6!

The fingerlings will be in their new stadium which could give them a decent boost. But they flatter to deceive too often. They've got some very good players and I can see the big boys in Spain knocking on their door waving huge wads of cash at them. Keeping their best players is a must if they want to finish in the top 4 again.

As for Chelsea, it really does depend on who they hire as manager and how much they throw at transfers. Losing Hazard could be a mortal blow.

Can't see anyone else challenging for top 6.

Liverpool's season seems to be getting better and better. They've put a very good run together and every city fan I know doesn't like to play against them, especially at Anfield.

We're more scared of you than we are scared of Wigan!

Well, the dozens I spoke to at the final on Sunday, Patsy.

You asked dozen of people if they were more scared of playing Liverpool than Wigan on Sunday? And they didn’t find you weird?

Strange fan base.

Big ask for City to win it next season.

I dont think City will be as strong next season, Other clubs will improve and how much more can City realistically improve upon the players they have?

Utd to sign sign quality in areas such as CB, LB, CM and possibly RW. Id go for Varane, Ghoulam, Verratti and Willian. Yes it'd cost around £200M but they have the £.

Arsenal need a GK, 2 CBs, RB and a DM. Oblak, David Luiz, Gimenez, Meunier and N'Zonzi.

Liverpool are a GK and a world class CB away. Alisson and Marquinhos would improve them massively IMO.

Assuming Courtois and Hazard stay then Chelsea need a CM and a striker... Possibly a replacement for Pedro also... I'd go for Nainggolan, Belotti and Malcolm.

Spurs need to retain their best players and hit the season running, they usually have to okay catch up and just can't keep up.. If they start strong.. Manage to get a gap over 2nd place of about 3/4 points they'll be hard to stop.

Yeah, that's a bit of an odd thing to do.

Can imagine him going round with his clipboard and pen surveying fans on the concourse.

8 out of 10 fans, when asked, gave Liverpool as the answer. A few gave Wigan as their answer, and one fan misheard the question and gave his full name and address.

It's very simple dummies. We were having a chat about who we'd like to face in the next round of the CL 9assuming we get through against Basle).

To a man, everyone said they wouldn't like Liverpool. Someone said they were more scared of Liverpool than Wigan (who have beaten us 3 times in the last 6 years) and others agreed with him.
