Yup. If it any consolation and this how mad the game is, get past the 1st level and you’ll be fine. But that first level is a real biitch. Advise putting points in: strength for s slow big hitter or dexterity for a fast hitter, but defo in the endurance or vitality one- the one that controls stamina. Can’t remember which. It’s favking hard though, but clever if you give it long enough to find out. Good luck. Took me 3 months to complete.

Oh and if you play online (I think you have to buy something in the game from a vendor character), you may have people invade and try and kill you- can be annoying, but also pretty epic battles.

..and also can get people to help you kill bosses which makes it a lot easier, up to 3 people I think which makes it really easy.

Yea this game is stupid hard.. I have no idea how I'd get on with dark souls..

How do you level? I get experience points then die and lose them all?

You can go and collect them from where you died. But if you die on the way they are lost.

Think you can level up when you get to the shrine place and speak to the doll I think? Then you can trade your points for level up. Also I think you can get points by burning the souls or one of the items.

It does get easier as you level up. Axe was quite a good weapon, think you can level weapons up too.

I had a bit of a bash with Bloodborne last night...I died a lot...

I’ll give it another go, I’m actually taken by not having a game super easy.

Skyrim for how good it actually was massively boring once you reached about level 30

Blood borne is very good once you get into it, and overcome the huge difficulty at the beginning.

Aside from the loads of boss fights and zones there’s a whole heap of extra dungeons with some amaxibf bosses in them too, if you do them later on you can come away with 300’000 points from there and level yourself up so much it becomes pretty trivial. Great game.

I haven't deleted it so I'll keep plodding along...

I have however gone full swing and I am now playing Kingdom Hearts
