The Beast from the Far East...

WHEN fit, Okazaki straight back in to support Vardy/midfield; allowing for a more attackIng addition in CM of Silva for James?

I’d personally have Fuchs in for Chilwell as well.

Amarety where are you? Ozi does not support Vardy he supports the midfield and defense imo.

Vardy doesn’t provide support to or a link between midfield and Vardy !?!?

This was discussed last night on Radio Leicester, the opinion being he was unlikely to be fit enough to start.

Okazaki IN Gray OUT
Fuchs IN Chilwell OUT
Iborra IN James OUT

That’s what i’d do. I only expect one of those changes from Puel and I expect James to play. The other option is to move Mahrez central to try and link with Vardy.

We must make better use of Vardy!!!!

I think we did try to swap Mahrez and Gray around mid match last time out but maybe it needed to be more structured.

Either Mahrez in the middle and Diabaté out wide with James and Ndidi or Okazaki in the middle and Mahrez out wide. Think either way Mahrez will drift in anyway. That trio of Mahrez, Okazaki and Vardy is what creates opportunities for all three, but in particularly with the isolation of Vardy - for our main striker and currently one of the best in the league.

Less concerned about the two CM but Okazaki would mean probably more flexiblility in Puel’s head for a change from James.

Even less concerned about right back at the moment and it is no where near our priority - possibly a bit of an argument about Amartey coming on current form over based on a very small amount of games - over a reasonable or longer amount of games - Simpson walks straight in; particularly as any priority in defence is about cohesion and defensive ability (our full backs getting forward is no where near an attacking priority currently - particularly in the formation we are playing).

Not too worried about player selection, more the style of play, no intensity and we'll struggle to get anything more than pointless possession stats in our own half.

I expect a tough midfield battle today from a Bournemouth side who are usually energetic and like a high press, so it'd be a good game for Okazaki to come back for if he is fit.
