Simple question guys.. what do we want the result to be on Sunday between City & Chelsea.
Chelsea to loose us to win and a potential 9 point gap between us and 5th and or city to loose so we the chances of them winning league against us gets less...
City or Chelsea on Sunday

What a stupid comment. I'm both a ST holder and a local red and even I want City to win or it end in a draw would be nice too.
City have won the league but Chelsea could still finish ahead is us realistically so anything but a Chelsea win is fine by me.
What's another win for City at the end of the day? They've had it sewn up for months anyway.

Our big local rivalry has always been with Liverpool in my lifetime.
Growing up I had mates who were United fans and mates who were City fans. I cannot get too upset when City win things because I'm always pleased for my mates, and for the city because I love Manchester.
I didn't have any mates who were Liverpool fans though

I'm the opposite.
Nearly all my mates that aren't United fans are Liverpool fans (bar the odd Evertonian) and for most of my time at school they were the top team and my life (in terms of football anyway!) was made hell.
However, as soon as adulthood approached United became the top team and I like to remind them that they've never toasted a United title whereas I have (legally at least!) been able to celebrate 11 titles with a beer in hand!
I don't want any other team than United to win the league but as for the game today then I want Chelsea to either lose or draw. A City win makes no real difference really as they're going to win the league anyway. Just don't want Chelsea getting a boost and going on a run that's all.

Agreed.
I'm usually of a never-say-never and never give up mindset, but there's absolutely no chance anyone other than City is winning the league this season.
Given that that's gone, I'm more bothered about us and how we fare than I am about what City do. A City win is the best result for us.

I don't like giving up either but sometimes you have to be realistic. What I would take though is City only beating Spurs and Chelsea between now and the rest of the season and losing the rest! However, if that were the case then I shouldn't really be worried about Chelsea winning!
