Arsenal Were Unlucky Today #Fact

As an arsenal fan, surely we should know we have the worst luck in the league it seems. But that is NO excuse for the shambles that we call defending. Not just today...but Dortmund and even vs Swansea. That is not luck...just horrible coaching and tactics.

The point is the own goals weren't avoided - that's down to individual errors, training, organisation etc. Where do you draw the line and just admit it was poor?

Sorry this defence will kill us. How can the board defend the highest ticket prizes anymore. We are going from frustration to frustration.

Why do people seem to think that own goals can just be dismissed as bad luck?

Sorry to break it to you but they were conceded from very very poor defending in the first instance.

Just because one of our players stuck it in the back of the net rather than a Blackburn player doesn't cover up the fact that poor defending led to the goals.

Blackburn created their own luck by exploiting a very very poor Arsenal defence

we were unlucky FACT but it doesnt mean we have to lose like this. we need to grind out results when its not going our way. NOT ENOUGH MENTAL STRENGTH

We were not unlucky FACT. The offside decision was very close in the replay and the linesman had a split second decision to make.

The rest was down to poor denfensive play, organisation and poor marking.

This zonal marking just isn't working for us nor is the high line.

Wenger and his defensive coaches have a real tactical mess to sort out if we are going to stop shipping these kind of goals all season.

You are kidding yourself - we have no defence and Wenger is culpable, bad luck played its part but good teams deal with it and make their own luck when things are going wrong - we don't because we have have no foundation in defence.
