Sheffield Wednesday v Bolton Wanderers

After an horrendous long haul run of 5 games which has seen the travelling fans cover 1062 miles a shorter trip across the Pennines of 56.8 miles today. With just 10 games to go and the points gap between Bolton and the bottom 3 getting bigger ever so slowly the tension is rising. Bolton in 19th can go above Wednesday with an unlikely away win today. Still with only 1 away win all season at Sheffield united, bolton are unbeaten in 2 away after 2 sticky draws at Norwich and reading. Wednesday have lost their last 4 games and their home record is poor. Last 10 W1 D3 L6. Team news. Morais injured at reading and likely to be replaced by ameobi. As for the rest of the side I can reveal parky has the bingo machine on the team coach and will be selecting the side that way. Expect anything today. Anything.

As for Wheats I saw him at the Macron car boot sale he was tucked under a table about 8 stalls down from the entrance not many people showing an interest in him the old broken clocks and cameras on the table seem to sell quickly perhaps the stall holder chucked Wheats in a skip on the way home.

Wheater has looked Laboured in recent weeks. Coincidently beevers looked better in a two than a 3 alongside Burke.

Just as Ken thinks he's told us some good financial news Prof P gets hit with a fine and distances himself from any financial and contract gubbins who's paying the fine is what we want to know.
Why the need for such a press statement concerning contract negotiations at this stage we all know Ken controls everything while Pat holds the household budget there's nothing to see there it may all change if we fall through the trap door.

Thanks for your comments regarding Wheats. When I was listening to the commentary on the radio they were saying he had no pace and wasn't looking great. Perhaps the toll of playing so many games at his age has had an effect.

To be dropped from the team and not to get a spot on the subs bench, did have me thinking that everything was not well between him and PP.

I wouldn't be writing wheater off but maybe got to manage his workload. Never had pace but looked badly exposed v Preston in the middle of a 3. A back 4 suits the available players so much better.

Got the mighty villa at 5.30. Shame city v Liverpool in the champions league clashes with bolton v Millwall. Ken might struggle to sell that one without big discounts. No wonder he was offering last 5 tickets.
