Just wow

So Troy Deeney, who made such a big deal of Arsenal's lack of, shall we say, chutzpah, has not only been part of a Watford team that was deconstructed piece by piece, but he also missed a penalty and gave Petr Cech his first penalty save as an Arsenal keeper.

Add to that goals from three players who really needed them - the much-maligned Mustafi, hitherto-underwhelming Mkhitarian and yet-to-be-proven Aubameyang - and this has been a successful kind of day!

As with the Milan game I had very little confidence here, and again the team has proven me wrong. It doesn't change my stance on Wenger but hopefully it is a signal that we've turned a corner and can close out the season with a bit of heart - long may the new run of form continue!
