Wolves will be without top scorer Diogo Jota after an ankle injury sustained in the midweek win over Reading.

His injury is not as bad as feared, but Ivan Cavaleiro is expected to return in place of the 14-goal forward.

Burton Albion could be without several regulars against the leaders, including Jamie Allen who has an ankle injury.

Luke Murphy (hamstring) and Martin Samuelsen (illness) are doubts, but new signing Tomas Egert is available after joining for the rest of the season.

The Brewers, who are second from bottom in the Championship, have not scored in their previous four matches.

Burton Albion manager Nigel Clough told BBC Radio Derby:

"We are missing chances all throughout the team. It is not just the strikers. Darren Bent has missed a few and Liam Boyce missed one on Saturday.

"But everyone has to take responsibility for scoring goals as you do to stop them as well.

"If we were not creating chances that would be more worrying. But we are only three points off safety with nine games left and we are in with a chance."

Wolves head coach Nuno told BBC WM:

"Diogo Jota is not available for this game. He twist his ankle. He has treatment. We hope it will only be a short time. But we have a squad. We have options.

"Burton comes to Molineux to fight for something really important for them.

"It will be a tough match This is one of the toughest competitions in Europe."

I think Bennett and Douglas will play a part albeit perhaps a lesser one but not convinced any of the others you list will though we may retain N'diaye and one of the strikers for depth.

The full back situation needs work I think along with the keeper and a striker will be a big priority again, outside of that we will need to add a strength in depth to the midfield and defence with at least one good new face in each.

Once we have Locadia alongside Neves in midfield, Nuno will be able to Utilise Saiss on the left side of the back 3 (where he plays for Morocco). With Boly in the centre, he just needs a new right sided CB for a solid back 3.

By the way, the above comment was made with tongue firmly in cheek

Willy Boly photoed on twitter taking delivery of his new car, a Rolls Royce. Championship players never used to be able to afford a motor like that. Hope it means he is staying with Wolves for a while

the curse of dave - stam gone

Had to go, they have been absolutely hopeless all season and the signing of Dave made zero sense for a side that wants to play possession football.

In fairness even a fella earning just 5 grand a week should be able to afford one if they wanted one.
