If we lose today, the way we have been playing doesn't bode well for a 7th place and

We need to play our strongest possible side and try 100% to progress in the cup - next season we are unlikely to still have our magician so this represents a great opportunity we may not have again for some time.

We pretty much have no chance of winning the FA cup. It belongs to United or Spurs, likely Spurs and in a semi final or final we would struggle to lay a glove on either imo.

That said I still think we should give it a go, but far more likely to get into Europe through getting 7th place but we need to get our act together in the PL to do that

No, I think they are lower and Cups tend to be for the fans or Managers who have to win something.

We have a fairly good run in, get the form back and team selections spot on and 7th is perfectly possible, just need other areas to work out and that would be Europa.

Today has no bearing on the League, it's a one off game although Puel needs to start playing his best team consistently in the Run in.

So where is the incentive for the players
To achieve 7th
Few £k more in the bonus - hardly

One of the top 4 also have to win the fa.cup
Or champions league??

European Football next year.

Massive bonuses no doubt.

Pride.

Boosting their chances of another Club wanting them.

Swansong Season - Same for the FA Cup.
