He cannot afford to take risks.

Think it is all about protecting his job. He cannot have another 1 win in 16 at LUFC like he had at Barnsley.

He definitely needs more wins if he wants to avoid being sacked at the end of the season.

So why take the risk with playing more younger players in the first team plus he also has more senior players available or back from injuries and suspensions to play than when TC was sacked

If PH is to be sacked because of a poor record after some 3 or 4 months, what a stupid and unnecessarily expensive appointment.

If AR has £500k to burn on a head coach just to get rid of him 5 minutes later, why the hell have we been spending relative peanuts on unproven foreign players? Quantity over quality and a mid-table budget around the corner.

The longer this ownership goes on with its catalogue of howlers, the more I think AR should sell up, take his nutcase management team with him and let's get someone in who knows what they're doing.

4 year contracts for players, some of whom couldn't hack it at Toytown Athletic, a Director of Football who has no practical experience of the game and far too much authority, and now a coach with a price tag who can't win a match to save his life.

It's just one false dawn after another, meanwhile the years go rolling by. I really can't wait for the season to end. How bad is that?

Surely better to sack him now or at the end of the season if he’s not good enough.
Prolonging a managers stay that isn’t up to the job just damages the club and will write off next season.

If I were PH I'd have one eye on 2018-19 and look at the players likely to form the nucleus of next season's squad.

Apart from pride there's not much to play for.

Sack him and we are back to square one. Who would take the role on and for what reason? Another big payment when they get inevitably sacked?

We need to grow, bring some consistency to the table.

No reasons not to bring youngsters in, the playing players haven't covered themselves in glory and let the coach down, by that I mean TC!..

Bringing more youngsters in when there's nothing to play for will at least let the club know who could improve the team and then add to it!..

It'd also let the regulars know their place isn't 100% guaranteed!..

Watched his pre-match press conference on LUTV. The whole time his body language was defensive (arms tightly folded in front of him, permanent frown etc.

There weren't any "difficult" questions either.

He's definitely feeling the pressure. Personally I haven't seen any signs of a manager in him.

If it was my club, he'd be gone by the end of the day if we lose against notloB.

There's a danger of being too literal here....

I would expect every player pulling on the white shirt to play for the fans be they 3500 in number or 35000.

From a risk or reward basis there's not much at stake, good time to blood some youngsters or players on the periphery of the first team squad.

Sensible.
