Today’s games should be a celebration of Agent Pulis and the truly remarkable job that he did in a little over 3 years. He took one of the country’s most overachieving and prosperous clubs and slowly striped them of any footballing skills and left them with virtually no saleable assets. In short, he has completely fecked up our 1nbred neighbours to the point where the club can’t afford to pay wages
There’s only one Agent Pulis

Middlesbrough defender Daniel Ayala is expected to be available for the visit of Championship leaders Wolves after recovering from a groin injury.
Striker Rudy Gestede (fractured ankle) is absent for the home side.
Wolves have reported no injury issues regarding the players who have returned from international duty.
Leading scorer Diogo Jota is still out with the ankle injury he sustained in the 3-0 home win over Reading on 13 March.
Wolves are six points ahead of second-placed Cardiff, who have a game in hand, and 13 clear of Fulham and Aston Villa in third and fourth respectively.
Four wins from their final eight matches will be enough to secure automatic promotion.
Boro are sixth, a point ahead of seventh-placed Bristol City.

Stan Cullis was manager the last time Wolves won at Middlesbrough - in April 1951. Boro are unbeaten in Wolves' 25 subsequent visits - and have never lost to Wanderers at the Riverside Stadium.
Having won 1-0 at home to Boro on the opening day of the season, Wolves are chasing a first league double over Boro at the 44th attempt.
Boro's Adama Traore has been involved in six goals in his last eight Championship matches (four goals, two assists).
Wolves, who lost 4-1 at Villa in their last away game, have not suffered back-to-back away league defeats in over a year (at Burton and Reading).
Boro boss Tony Pulis has ended on the winning side in each of his last four meetings with Wolves, in all competitions.

You could argue that there's no team other than Man City and maybe Liverpool on their day that are playing effective exciting open attacking football. Burnley and many others have a few decent players and manager that knows how to get the best out of them. They're the best of bunch of good, not brilliant football clubs in the prem at the moment, we've got better players than them now I reckon but that doesn't necessarily mean we'll finish above them next season.
That Ashley Barnes goal yesterday was worth the journey itself if your a Burnley fan or good entertainment even if you're not.

I am very confident we will finish ahead of Burnley next season.
I think as I get older I am just more and more selective about what I consider 'good football' and I really struggle to watch a majority of games nowadays and generally give up half way through or switch over other than with Wolves.
Not sure if watching Barcelona of recent times spoiled me or not but I have to say I am absolutely delighted that my club play a brand I love and one I have always wanted to see, receiving much ridicule over recent years for saying so.

You have never been ridiculed for wanting Wolves to play good passing football. You were ridiculed for thinking we were able to with the players we had at that time.
Everyone wanted to see us being as good as we are now.

I remember Cinci being ridiculed on a number of occasions actually, not by yourself Tamworth but some ‘older’ threadsters found his short passing stats highly amusing at one point........shortly after we purchased/loaned Neves, Jota, Costa, Cav, Boly, Bonatini and the same poster than ridiculed him are now avid fans of the much misunderstood short passing part of the game.............but let’s not dwell on it!

It's not methods of play that are/were ridiculed. It's the belittling and criticising of others, players and teams, whether using stats for not, purely in an effort to come across as being all-knowing. That did start to get slightly tiresome...

Eh? We were playing passing football and lost a couple of players and decided we couldn't any more.

The dino’s will never own up and will always refer to the 70’s as a comparison (which is laughable in itself) but we all know who they are
Like I said, we move on

Not really. In our first season back in the Championship with Dicko, Afobe and Sako we tended to defend slightly deeper to absorb pressure and hit teams on the counter. We were pretty direct that season.
We didn’t really play possession football, we looked to play the ball to Sako to run at people or into channels for Dicko and Afobe.

I wouldn't call it full on possession football but we did look after the ball well and were among the top six possession and short passing wise.
