"Too soon!!" you cry as we continue to wallow in the shocked disillusionment of Friday night, gathering our shattered expectations and trying to turn our genuine bewilderment into a force for good to take to Preston and convert this fury into a win........or something like that.....

Gosh, it felt personal and the venting of fury has been good. And I mean that. None of that blinkered, faux optimisim (alright, total denial of what is true) like what we get from the the Dark Side of the '52/'453. We face up to our shortcomings and say 'we woz crap' and things need to get better.

So, lets do it, dust down, re-group, rationalise and re-organise. And get behind them.

Amazingly, we are still 5th. Think about it, you don't get to be 5th by being totally useless. And its better than being 16th or even 6th.

Preston have not beaten us since Dec 2008 and we have won all of our last three vists there. I remember Craig Forsyth scoring the winner there a couple of years ago, which is definitely a good omen. We've also only lost 1 away game in the last five. Bad omen is that if lose tomorrow, Preston could leap frog us and we can start preparing for.....er.....our next game.

* Roadworks on the A52, suspended over the BH weekend but back on tomorrow.
* Our defence - was once the most mean in the divsion, is it time for whole scale changes?
