You can pick best XI's for both managers from all their teams on sky sports, tons of great players to choose from but it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Only difficult ones for me was leaving Hazard/Azpi out of the Jose team and De Bruyne/Silva for Pep's, but preferred Messi behind two strikers.
------------De Gea
Zanetti Ramos Terry Marcelo
---Essien Makelele Alonso
---Robben Drogba Ronaldo
---------Ederson
Alves Puyol Kompany Lahm
---Xavi Busquets Iniesta
----------Messi
------Aguero Henry
Jose vs Pep Best XI's

Ederson over Neuer? Bold.

For best under their managerial reign rather than best overall players, I'd go:
Pep XI 4-3-3:
Neuer
Alves Pique Puyol Lahm
Xavi Busquets Iniesta
Messi Lewandowski Eto'o
Jose XI 4-3-1-2:
Cech
Zanetti Ramos Terry Cole
Deco Alonso Sneijder
Lampard
Drogba Ronaldo

Being generous Drogba has only had 4 prolific seasons in the top leagues (and that includes 2 in the French league). Eto'o has had 7 in La Liga and Serie A.

I'd have Casillas in net over Cech of De Gea. In Jose's first 2 seasons he was immense and a proper leader.

Drogba had at least three/four good seasons in England.

Whether they were good or not, in terms of goalscoring, he's only had 2 good ones.

How many of them for each were under Jose and/or Pep? (I don't know the answer btw, just seems relevant if that's the point of the article)
A few players could feasibly be in both though - Eto'o, Alonso, Robben... De Bruyne (lols)

Both Drogba and Eto'o have had 1 prolific season each under Mourinho. But if the remit was the best strikers that have played under them, notwithstanding their form under him, you'd go with Eto'o over Drogba.
