Team News
Leeds United
Both O'Kane and Pennington are added to the injury list Pennington's absence leaves Pontus Jansson as the only fit senior central defender as both Liam Cooper (thigh) and Conor Shaughnessy (ankle) are also sidelined, so Paudie O'Connor could make his first senior appearance for the club. Forward Kemar Roofe (calf) is back in training, but midfielder Adam Forshaw (calf), defender Luke Ayling (ankle) and striker Tyler Roberts (shin) all remain sidelined.
Sunderland
Defender Lamine Kone could return after missing Monday's 3-1 home defeat by Sheffield Wednesday with a groin problem. Kone was able to train on Thursday and manager Chris Coleman is hopeful he will be available, although Jake Clarke-Salter's return from suspension gives the Welshman another option with Bryan Oviedo and Brendan Galloway both doubts.
Marc Wilson started his first game since January 13 against the Owls, and there was also a return as a substitute for striker Joel Asoro after he sat out the 4-1 win at Derby because of concussion. However, Robbin Ruiter (dislocated finger), Billy Jones and Tyias Browning (both knee), Jonny Williams (thigh) and Duncan Watmore (knee ligaments) are still sidelined.

Match Facts
Leeds haven't faced Sunderland at Elland Road since September 2006, losing 3-0 in a Championship clash under manager Kevin Blackwell.
Since a run of 21 away league matches at Elland Road without winning between January 1962 and April 2002, the Black Cats have won each of their last three without conceding a goal.
Sunderland are looking to win consecutive away league games for the first time since May 2014, when they beat Chelsea and Man Utd.
Sunderland have won more points on the road this season (19) than they have at the Stadium of Light (12).
Paul Heckingbottom has already beaten Sunderland twice this season, both with Barnsley. The last manager to beat Sunderland three times in a season was Manuel Pellegrini in 2015-16.
No Leeds player has missed more 'big chances' in the Championship this season than Caleb Ekuban (6), with Ekuban missing five 'big chances' in his last three appearances.
There we have it, plagued with injuries so a good chance some of the youngsters might feature
I should be well confident of us getting a win here, but i just can't shake off the thought that we might get mugged ...................Oh sod it, 3-0 scoreline Ekuban Hat Trick

Poor result - struggling v/s relegation teams. We've become a very ordinary team if not L1 team.
