He’s always considered the PL and CL the only competitions worth winning. If we win this fa Cup how long would that appease some fans in terms of winning things? Would peope be happy to win the occasional fa Cup or league cup every now or then, much like this fa Cup is at least a trophy in the bag and would at least keep the fans happy for a while.

Because of the Wembley thing this season was initially a bit of a free hit for Poch. Now hopes have been raised of a Cup win and cl footie at the new WHL everythings changed. If he doesn't play Toby and we lose tomorrow he will face his first real wrath of the supporters. If the unthinkable happens and we blow the top 4 there will be a proper meltdown.

Right here and now winning this FA Cup would do us good just to get over this record.

1991 Arsenal 3-1 W
1993 Arsenal 1-0 L
1995 Everton 4-1 L
1999 Newcastle 2-0 L
2001 Arsenal 2-1 L
2010 Portsmouth 2-0 L
2012 Chelsea 5-1 L

However, 8 FA Cups v 2 league titles / 3 european trophies backs Poch's comments up as to what would make more of a difference.
