Kids for a quid, Great idea but they cast a fortune to keep
Good move by the club, hope they do more of this in the future
Barnsley can't help wondering how PH feels facing his boyhood club and fans . If nothing else it'll be a test of his commitment to LUFC.
Venue....Elland Road...Date 21st April...Kick Off ...15:00hrs
Team News
Leeds United
Leeds trio Pontus Jansson, Liam Cooper and Adam Forshaw could return to contention for the visit of boss Paul Heckingbottom's former club Barnsley.
Jansson missed last week's defeat at Aston Villa due to concussion, while fellow centre-back Cooper has missed the last seven games due to a leg injury. Midfielder Forshaw has been sidelined for five games with a calf problem, but all three have returned to training and could be included in the squad.
Heckingbottom is still without suspended defender Gaetano Berardi, Luke Ayling (ankle), Laurens De Bock (hamstring), Tyler Roberts (shin) and Conor Shaughnessy (ankle).
Barnsley
Barnsley's Adam Jackson and Brad Potts are both hoping to shake off knocks in time to prove their fitness. Defender Jackson and midfielder Potts were both forced off during last week's home draw against Bolton, but have not been ruled out.
Centre-back Matt Mills is closing in on his return after being sidelined since the end of February due to an ankle injury. Boss Jose Morais has reported no new injury concerns as the Reds bid to climb out of the bottom three.

Match Stats
Leeds are unbeaten in their last three home league games against Barnsley since losing 2-1 in November 2011.
Barnsley haven't lost both league matches in a season against the Whites since the 1997-98 season in the Premier League.
Paul Heckingbottom took charge of Barnsley in the reverse fixture, a 2-0 win for Leeds - the last manager to lose a Football League fixture twice in a season as manager of both clubs was Paul Cook in 2012-13 as manager of Accrington and then Chesterfield.
Oliver McBurnie has scored eight goals in 12 league starts for Barnsley since joining on loan. Only two players have netted more Championship goals since McBurnie's first Barnsley start on February 10th (Aleksandar Mitrovic 10 & Patrick Bamford 9).
Leeds have already conceded more league goals at Elland Road in nine matches in 2018 (17) than they did in 23 matches in 2017 (16).
Barnsley are winless in their last four away league games, losing each of the last three. They last lost four consecutively back in August 2017 (5).
No Championship team has won fewer points in 2018 than Leeds United (12).
Another game that should (in theory) give us 3 points, but................???
Having Pontus, Forshaw and Cooper back could be a major boost, hopefully this won't be bad news for young Pearce and O'Connor who i thought were excellent against Villa.
At the risk of sounding over optimistic (as usual ) i'm going for a 3-1 scoreline i'm not expecting a clean sheet as i think Barnsley will fight for this one (and not just to get themselves up the table a bit, but to prove a point to their ex manager)

Kids for a quid, category A...
If we lose to Barnsley even the most ardent PH fan must start to have doubts.
I think we’ll nudge a 2-1 win.
One wonders whose goals PH will celebrate

1-1 McBurnie, probably. Really can’t see it being anything but a draw, not talked to a Leeds fan who thinks you’ll win. Know a few who have given tickets up they’re so fed up. Please don’t shoot, our keeper is terrible. Anything 15 yards or further out goes straight through him!
Anyway let’s hope it’s a good game in great weather.

Correct about your keeper! However McBurnie never looked like a player I would want at Leeds.
Over 30k turned up so not many given up tickets by the look of things.

Well where to start? Positives. Peacock is a great place for fans to go. Decent beer a band on and sunshine, even ent back after the match too. Shame the club doesn’t own it, right money spinner.
I asked you not to shoot from any distance, you clearly weren’t listening. Keeper goes down in stages, badly positioned and couldn’t get to a half hit bobbling shot.
You bossed first half hour and we were on top last 15 mins, deserved but fortunate equaliser.
2nd half and a terrible start. Mills dives in but where is non interested Yiadom. Good luck if you get anything out of him next season. Disallowed goal looked fine from my angle. Ball was cut back so couldn’t be offside. Haven’t seen a replay though. Moore then fluffed 2 golden chances and we had a stonewall penalty not given.
To be honest we possibly just about deserved a point but no more.
Desperately quiet crowd, suppose that’s more to do with the dross you’ve put up with.
Good luck for the future, hope we will meet next season, but I doubt it.
Seriously need to sack the manager if you’ve any ambition whatsoever.

Thanks Snapski, the way we played I think you probably deserved a point, penalty ? no comment
Not like Elland Road to be at a low volume could be the dross as you say
No idea how you missed the chances you had, I really thought we'd thrown it away (Again)
State your club is in makes me worry about our own chances with PH in charge .
Good Luck with your relegation battle
