We need to sell all our scapegoats to bring in a fresh batch of scapegoats.

I know you’re taking the p but the general aim of a club is to improve the team year on year. Generally speaking the scapegoats (primarily Karius and Lovren) are probably the weakest in our first 11. So yeah, wouldn’t mind us replacing the scapegoats actually. As long as it’s an upgrade.

IMO Lovern has only been better than Matip due to Matip getting injured all the time and has struggled to get a run of games.

Lovern has cost us more points/goals than any outfield player in recent history.

Defo need another CB this summer.. Just say Salah didn't play the other night and say we were 1/2/3 up, then it could be a very different game next week

Going forward we need better than Lovren but think people go way over the top with him. He's largely been faultless and played very good since the clamaity against spurs way back in October. He was immense against both City and Roma and think it's a little harsh to blame the goal on him as the pass was excellent.

He makes alot of.mistakea even in game where he has 'playwd well's they just have punished the mistakes therefore people think he had a good game when really it was average

I'm not saying that the likes of Lovren and Karius need to be improved upon, but we can't go over the top when they make a mistake. They are two very good squad players, and you need those to win the league. To be honest, both have been very good the last couple of months.

Think a lot of our fans are very harsh on Lovren. Been better than Matip, and actually been quite good this season. Definitely a confidence player.

He's only been better as he's played alongside VvD more. I think if Matip had been fit, he would improved as he would have been alongside quality.

Fair point. Having a CB of VVD’s quality would help any player.

Two years of injury niggles for Matip now. Nothing serious but very stop-start. Stating the obvious perhaps but he needs an injury free year.

Last season Matip absences were more political to do with him not wanting to play for Cameroon.

Lovren gets injured alot aswell, has never played more than 6 games in a row

or he averages an injury every 6 games, something like that
