Ferrari seem to have a solid number two driver in Raikonnen who seems happy to pick up the money and play a supporting role getting podiums.
I would stick with Raikonnen.
Their number one driver is letting them down. Ferrari need to ditch Vettel and sign Riccardo. Riccardo is in another league to Vettel.
Riccardo and Raikonnen for 2019 maybe?
Ferrari need to dump Vettel

lot of water to flow-but they have the best car

Agree, absolutely. They have the best car by a distance at the moment. In qualifying trim and in race trim.
Mercedes need to up their game.
I think Riccardo will leave Red Bull now. Why else would they not let him past Verstappen when he was clearly quicker at that point in the race.

For the same reason that they have never told Ricciardo to let Max past. There is no no1 and no2 at red bull.
Had this arguement on another thread on here about no1 and no2 drivers. This is what happens when you get two drivers of similar ability in the same car.
You are aware that Vettel has won 50% of the races so far this season and Ferrari are sitting top of the constructors?! He has had a very solid start to the season.

It appears the new car suits Kimi and he can outperform Seb if given the chance. However, there are always caveats with Kimi. He is too inconsistent.
If you have the fastest car on the grid, having Seb in your team is great as he knows how to lead from the front and rarely chucks it. He usually struggles when not at the front.
I would be very wary about writing off the Merc. The car has not changed much since testing, they will have upgrades galore to come and once they get a handle on those tyres, the true pace of the car will be unleashed.
If you analyse Bahrain and Australia, they had the pace.
China and Baku were the only races where they looked out of it

Mercs have shown in the past that they are stronger in the 2nd half of the season. As you also said Vettel can get a bit strung out if the heat is on.
Merc also have the resources to pump into the team for the 2nd half of the season. Also as Bottas falls further behind Lewis he will become the outright no 2 driver and will end up following team order which will help Hamilton.
I have always thought this season will be another WDC for Lewis.
